Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
As a school, we want to ensure we can support all families who may need financial assistance for trips, uniform, food and any other needs you may have. We have a named member of staff in Mr J Parkinson, who all parents/carers can contact for discreet and confidential support and advice around any costs of the school day. We have a number of ways in which we can support you, such as:
- Referrals to Abergavenny Food Bank
- Subsidising and supporting costs of trips
- A Pre-Loved Uniform scheme
- Breakfast Club on both primary and secondary sites
- Signposting support and advice accessible through the LA and local/national charities
If you would like more information about breakfast club on the primary site, please contact your child’s class teacher or the primary site Reception.
If you would like more information about the breakfast club on the secondary site, please contact a member of the Wellbeing Team who will be able to share eligibility criteria. Please note the secondary site breakfast club is not a childcare provision.
Pre-Loved Uniform
Please donate and re-useable and pre-loved uniform to our school Reception. We will clean and organise this uniform ready for parents/carers to be able to access at key points throughout the year, such as the Year 6 Transition Evening and summer holidays
Equipment Shop
The school is able to provide a pencil case with all stationery needed for the low price of £1. We are also able to provide a geometry set for Maths and for £1.50 and a scientific calculator for £9.20. These are sold with no profit and are of good quality. All these items are available to buy on ParentPay and can be from Mrs S Francis’ office, main Reception or delivered to your child in school.
