Friends of King Henry VIII 3-19 School
Croeso! A warm welcome to the Friends of King Henry VIII 3–19 School.
The Friends of King Henry VIII 3-19 School is an open, welcoming group of parents, carers, staff, and community members who work together to enhance the school experience for every pupil. By organising community events and raising funds, our aim is to provide the extra resources, equipment, and extracurricular opportunities that make our school a vibrant place to learn.
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be a parent of a pupil to get involved. We are proud to bring together a wide network of supporters:
- Parents and Carers across all year groups.
- Wider Family Members including grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
- Community Members who want to stay connected to the school's historic legacy.
- Local Businesses looking to sponsor events or partner with us.
We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments. There are many ways to support the Friends, big or small:
- Commit to organising: Help us plan, set up, or run our annual fairs, refreshments at school shows, or community events.
- Take on a committee role: Step into a structured leadership role to help run the fundraising efforts.
- Share fundraising ideas: Bring fresh, creative concepts for activities that can engage our children.
- Sponsor events: Local businesses can provide raffle prizes, match funding, or direct event sponsorship.
We hold regular, informal meetings throughout the term to discuss upcoming projects and fund allocation. The date for our formal AGM will be posted here on the website, and all are welcome to attend.
If you want to get involved, share an idea, or ask a question, please email us directly at friendskhs@monmouthshireschools.wales.
